There are three types of automotive heat insulation films: dyed films, metal films, and magnetron sputtering films [1]. For ease of understanding, the types of automotive films can be divided into more detailed: 6 types.
Stained membranes
It refers to the lowest-grade automotive film, which is characterized by thinness, no heat insulation, and easy fading. Generally, there are more in small shops, and it is very cheap, and it only costs one or two hundred yuan to paste the whole car. "Tooth waist fading" is its most significant feature. This kind of film is generally produced in Taiwan, China.
Coating of printed films
It is a craft unique to Korea. Generally thicker. This membrane is better insulated, but slightly less transparent.
Ordinary metal film
It is made by splashing metal on the colorless original film layer, and the metals generally used are aluminum, iron, etc. This kind of film is generally produced in China, India, Japan, United States, etc. The most common on the market is this metal film. The composition of the film (generally the metal is heated and evaporated on the film-based material), but this kind of film has average transparency, heat insulation is also average, and the price is not low. The average beauty shop often uses this kind of film to pass off as a top-of-the-line film. Many well-known brands, in fact, are just this kind of ordinary metal film, because of the early entry into the market, so consumers also mistakenly think that this film is a high-grade film.
Nano ceramic membranes
It is based on nano titanium nitride, the combination of magnetron sputtering technology and metal nitriding technology, which is durable, not easy to corrode, and does not interfere with electromagnetic signals. There is no restriction on the place of origin, United States, Japan, China all have this production capacity. Amber Optical Nano Ceramic Thermal Insulation Film is the latest ceramic film (in February 2001, it successfully applied for a global patent for multi-layer nano ceramic thermal insulation film: 6,188,512)
Precious metal film
As the name suggests, this film also sprays metal on a colorless original film layer, but the difference is that the splash is chromium, titanium, platinum and other precious metals. In addition, the sputtering method of this film is "magnetron sputtering". It's a complex process. This kind of film is characterized by natural color, good light transmission and good heat insulation.
Magnetron sputtering film
Multi-layer polyester film technology. This is another technical trend of high-end film, through multi-layer extrusion technology, 240 layers of polyester film are superimposed together to make a heat insulation film only 0.05mm thick, which has the characteristics of high visible light transmittance, good heat insulation, long life, and no electromagnetic signal interference.
